Advertising Policy

Effective July 13, 2026. Our service is free for users and may be supported by paid lawyer advertising.

Advertising does not control the information

Advertisers cannot review, approve, edit, or shape general educational content or structured guidance. Paying for placement does not improve or change an answer.

Clear labels

Paid listings and placements will be labeled “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” or with another clear disclosure. We aim to make paid placement distinguishable from unpaid educational material.

No endorsement or ranking promise

A paid placement does not mean Clear Next Step endorses, recommends, certifies, or guarantees a lawyer. Position may reflect an advertising package, location, and practice-area relevance—not legal skill or likely outcome.

Lawyer responsibility

Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, their professional eligibility, and compliance with Florida Bar rules and all applicable laws. We may request verification and may reject, suspend, or remove advertising that is inaccurate, misleading, harmful, or inconsistent with this policy.

User choice and privacy

Users choose whether to contact an advertiser. We will not send the text of a user’s question to a lawyer without clear permission. Contacting or viewing a lawyer does not create an attorney-client relationship; that relationship begins only under the lawyer’s own engagement process.

Future updates

Advertising products may change as the service grows. Material policy changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
